Since it began trading in 1996 Greenfibres has grown each year both in terms of sales and their product range. This is partly due to a growing awareness of the ecological consequences of our collective purchasing decisions, and partly a result of increasing concerns over the effects on our health of everyday household products.
Greenfibres are trying to push the ecological standards of their products higher all the time and are often the first to offer them in the UK. They appreciate that they need to be aware of their carbon footprint as well as the way in which a product has been cut, sewn, and trimmed, so with manufacturing facilities in Devon and close co-operation with producers abroad, they are able to influence the production processes to take account of all ethical and ecological issues. |
