Carbon Offsetting
 We acknowledge that we can’t always lower our carbon footprint. Sometimes we forget to put the recycling out and sometimes, just sometimes, someone leaves a light on overnight. When you shop at MoreEco, you are presented with an alternative solution.
That’s where our carbon offsetting comes in. It’s often a misunderstood term and there are various companies who offer different methods of carbon offsetting.
“Carbon offset is the act of reducing or avoiding CO2 emissions in one place in order to "offset" CO2 emissions occurring elsewhere. Because CO2 mixes well in the atmosphere, it doesn’t matter where that mitigation occurs.”
Whilst carbon offsetting is not the be all and end all solution, we feel it is better than doing nothing and we want to be part of the movement for a sustainable world. It is promoting an industry that is looking at reducing our collective carbon footprint, however we acknowledge that it does need more regulation.
