Ascension has become renowned for making cool, affordable collections of street wear basics-with-a-twist. It’s a young clothing brand that has its roots in Manchester but its heart in India, where it supports the work of the Life Association charity in rural Andhra Pradesh. Now as part of the Adili family, Ascension is proving that cool styling, affordability and ethics can go hand-in-hand.
Ascension’s printed T-shirts are made in India using 100% organic cotton and are manufactured in a Fair Wear Foundation approved factory which is also solar-powered. They’re the first clothing range to be carbon labelled by the Carbon Trust! The jeans are made using SKAL certified organic cotton denim and fairly traded from a small factory in Bulgaria. The jersey wear has been made from the softest Peruvian organic cotton and some items even include some recycled polyester.
