Fed up of shopping for your coffee at the local chain coffee store? Presso is the world’s simplest espresso coffee
maker.
Made using eco-friendly and recyclable materials, this stylish espresso maker will revolutionise the way you experience your favourite coffee.
How do you make a great tasting coffee from Presso?
1. Make sure you use clean fresh water that has not been re boiled.
2. Use coffee grounds suitable for espresso machines (not too large or the coffee will be weak and thin. Not too fine or it will be very hard to push the arms down)
3. For maximum cream try overfilling the cylinder with hot water to increase the pressure. Raise the arms and squeeze down firmly stopping once the espresso is out. Catch the remainder in a second cup and throw this away.
4. Tamp the grounds down firmly with the Presso spoon tamp.
5. After filling Presso with hot water raise the handles and then let the water infuse into the grinds in for 15 to 25 seconds.
6. Push the handles downwards in a firm smooth motion and hold them at the end of the stroke (curl your fingers around the base legs and wait for all the water to be extracted.)
7. Sometimes a second repetition may be needed to extract all the moisture from the coffee.
8. Enjoy!

Are you shopping for the perfect Mother’s Day gift? This unique and stylish picture frame is 20 x 25cm (8″ x 10″)
and would make a great present.
Made in the UK from recycled circuit boards.
In today’s world electronic equipment is cheaper and more widely available than ever before. Much of this equipment is designed to be of a throw away nature instead of being repairable.
Every piece of electronic equipment needs some type of printed circuit board (or PCB) in order to work, as it is the base from which the product is built. Consumer electronic products are constantly being updated and redesigned due to innovation and competition and, although these products are becoming smaller in size as time goes by, their numbers continue to increase.
Most PCBs are produced in large volumes by electronics manufacturers and ultimately become either obsolete or fail stringent control checks, after which they are incinerated or dumped into landfill sites. This picture frame has been rescued from being UK waste.
The recycled PCBs have a flat finish and have never had components attached to them with any type of solder or glue. Consequently, the heavy metals associated with electronic equipment are not present. Around 95% of the PCBs are green in colour, but occasionally we get gold, red and (most rarely), blue. Some boards are single sided with a brown back and green front and others are green both sides.

All three garments were produced by Assisi. Assisi Garments is one of the first groups that People Tree worked with. Set up by Franciscan nuns, it provides employment for deaf, mute and poor women who were considered unfit for marriage by their families.
Assisi provides a haven for these women to live in and a safe and supportive working environment. They are paid a fair wage and a lump sum paid after five years of employment to start a home.
