Canaletto Bangle

This unique bangle has been made from the recycled pages of an art history book on the painter Canaletto. The pages have been cut into strips and then woven and embellished with costume pearls. The bangle has then been sealed with several coats of water based lacquer.

Dimensions: Height – 4.5cm,  internal diameter – approximately 7cm.

Designed by: Liz Hamman Jewellery

The beauty of Liz Hamman’s jewellery is in the detail. Her origami style of folding and manipulating unusual papers is both fascinating, witty and appealing to the eye. Liz incorporates recycled papers into her work, in particular maps and books sourced from her local area. Her necklace made from musical sheet paper is one of Elaine’s favourites.  As Liz purchases her raw materials from charity shops in her area, her work not only reduces waste, it helps supports worthwhile community causes.
