Slider Fire Hose Belt

The Slider Belt is made from 100% recycled fire hose material and comes with a versatile and nickel free buckle which will fit you anywhere from waist to hip.

Suitable for both guys and girls, the belts look particularly good with a pair of jeans.

At 3.5cm wide, the Slider belt comes in one size only, extra large but it is really easy to modify. All you need is a pair of sharp scissors.

The Slider Belts are made from reclaimed fire hoses that were otherwise on their way to landfill. To date, the makers have rescued over 40 tons of material from entering landfill sites. The commitment to reusing materials also extends to the packaging and every belt is packaged in reclaimed or recycled materials.

The fire hose belts are made by Elvis and Kresse who are based in Bournemouth. Although they started in London, they now collect fire hoses from across the UK and in order to thank Britain’s Brigades, 50% of their profits go back to the Fire Fighters Charity.

The business is also supporting two coffee grower initiatives, one to build a spent domestic water filtration system at Jesus Maria in Nicaragua and the other to construct accommodation, kitchens and lavatories at Santa Ana La Huerta in Guatemala.
