Eco Wellies from Sea Salt!

In 2005 Seasalt Organic Cotton Clothing became the first fashion company to have garments certified to Soil Association standards.

Seasalt are committed to reducing their adverse environmental impacts and they continually strive to improve their green credentials. Around 20% of everything they sell is made from organic cotton and they are examining everything else that they do to make sure they are doing the best for the environment.

Seasalt cares about the suppliers it uses, and whenever they can they visit the factories where Seasalt garments are produced. As they grow, and the number of suppliers increases, keeping a handle on what’s going on becomes even more important.

They have also signed up to the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) Base Code, which summarises the labour standards that they expect their suppliers to work towards.
