All guitarists like to stand out, and almost certainly love to show off. The new range of Cyclotron guitars from Simon Lee will enable you to do both, and saving the planet in the process.

Unlike conventional instruments, Cyclotron guitars are not made from endangered hardwoods. The material of choice here is, maybe surprisingly, recycled plastics. However, the real surprise comes when you actually play the guitar. The maple neck, heavy recycled plastic body and top quality hand-wound Bare Knuckle pickups (as used by Matt Bellamy, Lenny Kravtitz, The Datsuns and many, many others) combine to give this guitar the top quality sound you would expect from such an instrument.

A bold new design, the Webster uses the timeless combination of three single coils (Bare Knuckle Pickups), which deliver the widest range of pure single coil sounds available.

The body is developed and cut away so that both front and back plates provide minimal obstruction and maximum access for both standing and seated playing styles.

The maple centre and neck form the rigid core which allows for sustain to develop and grow.

Five way switching allows a wide variety of sound combinations suitable for many different musical styles.

The solid Switchcraft jack socket is mounted directly into the recessed maple core providing a dependable and pull proof connection.

The guitars are available in six uniqe materials, each of which give your new guitar a unique finish.

Materials

Marble: Reclaimed plastics from food production industry. Semi-translucent with black veining. Has the appearance of a very heavy marble.

Snow: Factory reject Yoghurt pots with foil fragments from lids embedded in a white stone like material. Polishes to a hard shine.

Pirate: Sparkling fragments of crushed CDs suspended in translucent blue from office water cooler bottles. The CDs were seized by Trading Standards during a raid on illegal CD production facilities.

Superfresh: Domestic bottles and containers of all types. Gives very vivid splashes and streaks of colour moving through the material. It even has a fresh soapy smell when first machined.

Chilli: Off cuts from industrial pipes. The mixture of colours produce a hot volcanic effect.

Espresso: Vending Machine Coffee Cups which show as chips of cream and beige in a grey/ black base. This material polishes well to granite like appearance.

100% Silk Quilt – Gold & Cream

Sculpted Reading Table

Made from ruined novels, the artists breathes new life into forgotten books and creates a solid piece of furniture and sculpture in one. The cushions are made from hessian and filled with shredded recycled paper. A set includes one table and two cushions.

Hannah Lobley graduated with a masters in Applied Art & Visual Culture in 2004. Her work has been exhibited internationally and nationally with shows in Japan and China and the UK. Hannah’s work has been showcased by the Crafts Council at the Victoria and Albert Museum shop in London. In addition to Pure Design, Hannah’s Paperwork is also stocked by Liberty’s of London. In June 2008 Hannah won the Best in Show Eco Award at Design Show Liverpool judged by Wayne Hemingway.

Recycled Aircraft Tyre Horse Swing

Strida 5.2 Folding Bike

Presso Espresso Coffee Maker

The Presso Espresso Coffee Maker is a manual, non-electric espresso machine that produces the pressure required to make delicious cafe-style coffee in your own home.

The operation of the Presso is very straight forward. You simply fill the steel filter with the coffee of your choice, attach it to the Presso via the chrome holder and pour boiling water into the heat proof cylinder at the top.
