This month Big Green Smila are proud to be the first UK retailer to launch the organic skin and bodycare range from Melvita. Formulated with potent plant actives, herbal extracts and essential oils to deliver beautiful skincare everyday. Melvita is the largest natural skincare brand in France and having recently partnered with L’Occitaine expect to hear a lot more from them here in the UK. Each Melvita product is certified by France’s equivalent of the Soil Association, ECOCERT.

Made sustainably in an Eco-Factory in the south of France Melvita products are renowned for their efficacy and ease-of-use. The R&D team, led by founder Bernard Chevilliat are at the forefront of organic formulation, and continue to use innovative ingredients from all over the world.

Using innovative ingredients including Bamboo Tears, Kigelia, Mamaku and many more the Melvita range binds together perfectly organic formulations and efficacy.

Melvita Rose Nectar Day Cream

Melvita Rose Nectar Day Cream leaves even the most sensitive skin soft and and hydrated. The Rose ‘totum’ – a unique combination of four different Roses specially selected by Melvita – provides superior soothing and repairing qualities, reducing redness and refining the complexion. The blend includes the rehydrating qualities of Moroccan Rose, soothing Iranian Rose Floral Water, rejuvenating Rosehip Seed Oil from Chile and revitalising Rose Seed Milk. Damask Rose Essential Oil is included as an elegant and sophisticated fragrance.

Melvita Eye Contour Gel

Melvita Eye Contour Gel provides an instant lift to the appearance of the eye area reducing the look of dark circles and smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles. Formulated with a complex of Caffeine, Willow and Phospholipids this gel will plump out dehydrated fine lines whilst Centella, Ginkgo Biloba and Buckwheat wax, rich in phytosterols, help to reduce puffiness. Acacia gum and Rhizobium gum have been included in the blend to reduce the look and feel of expression lines – tightening the surface of the skin. This gel will also hydrate and soothe with Cornflower, Chamomile and Neroli Floral Waters.
